Yes Bringing you ‘All things Football’. As part of our support for the More2Life project (A Maldon LAG/CVS joint project) we are joining forces to look at how our hobbies, interests, engaging in sports activities, can provide enrichment to our lives, especially in a social context. We are therefore looking how Football can bring benefits adults with a learning disability. The Soccability sessions on a Monday evening have now come to an end till the spring next year however those interested can still attend the Training sessions help at the Prom every Saturday from 10.30am.

Yes this is the ‘I’m only Joking’ – Anti Bullying Campaign. We have so far helped facilitate the bidding process to develop a series of workshops which it is aimed will go into schools to promote issues faced by people of all ages with a learning disability.
We were approached by Katharine Washbrook – Castle Point Association of Voluntary Services to support the development of the Anti-bullying campaign as part of Be-safer. Remember…’ even though you may say “I’m only Joking” ‘Its only funny if everyone is laughing’?
We are now involved in helping to develop a website for the campaign in partnership with PIPEMEDIA. We will be active in trying to get the message across to people across the Maldon district.

December means the real build-up for Christmas & the Maldon Pioneers are looking forward to the Christmas meal on Tuesday 13th December.
